60

60 seconds=1 minute
60 minutes= 1 hour

60 days waiting for a determination from CIS or the Department of State=Nothing. My baby is still in his crib half a world away. God bless him, and please give me strength for this emotional marathon. I love him.

What is my angle when I meet with staffers for my senators this week? Should I focus on the process in general, on Tu Du hospital, on attachment and developmental issues, on how my representatives are really the only way Daniel has any voice in this process? What next?

Hi, I just found your blog and wanted to wish you good luck for your upcoming meeting. We are waiting to submit our I-600 (any day now...) and our child was also born at Tu Du, so we are obviously very concerned. I have faith that you will find help to bring him home quickly. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I think that no matter how you decide to present your case you will do a great job and your effort is greatly appreciated. The new I600 process and its goal of investigating each child individually is honorable and very ambitious. One reasonable question is whether or not there was a written plan complete with detailed reasoning, method, adequate staff and proper communication with the VN government in place before implementation. If so, why the need to change from 60 days to 60 working days, Bring Our Children Home, a letter from Congressman Price, and a petition with close to 3000 signatures? I think that these things signal a need for investigation. Good luck and thanks! And I wouldn't mind checking here tomorrow to see that you no longer need to meet with anyone because your I600 was approved!

I wish I knew what to tell you. Definitely talk about the whole process--changing of timelines, no notifications, etc. Good luck with your meeting!!
